Lawson has been CEO of Somerville and Somerville Housing since 2017.

Lawson’s experience is in private enterprise, the not-for-profit sector and the public service. He is member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a director of National Disability Services and chair of the Northern Territory committee, a member of the Northern Territory Council of Social Services and NT Shelter and former president of NT Shelter.

Lawson is keenly interested in innovation within community services creating opportunities for leadership that demonstrates impact in addressing social disadvantage beyond government funded services
