Farewell and thank you to Michael Brown

21 December 2009

After a huge year with UnitingCare Australia, Michael Brown, Director of Government Relations, is leaving us. The National Office hopes the network will join us in expressing our shared appreciation for all that he has brought to UnitingCare Australia and all that he has achieved over the past year. We have all enjoyed working with him in the national office team, and are especially grateful for his work as part of the coalition of organisations advocating for improved services and supports for older people and their families. Michael has been instrumental in taking our government relations to the next level, and working both behind the scenes and out front to improve our engagement with key parliamentary and departmental decision-makers. Michael has also left the National Office with a much improved financial management process. Although we are sad to say goodbye, we wish him well in his next role.
