The Statement to the Nation

At its inauguration the Uniting Church of Australia (UCA) made a Statement to the Nation expressing its vision for itself and the world in which it lives.

The Basis of Union (1977) is the foundational document that guides the theological understanding, life and policy of the UCA.

As an agency of the National Assembly of the UCA, UnitingCare Australia is shaped by the framework of faith, vision and values set out in the Basis of Union (1977).
